पत्रावली म्हणून स्वामी विवेकानंद यांच्या पत्रांचा संग्रह असलेलं एक पुस्तक आहे

यात स्वामी विवेकानंद एका मित्राला पत्रांमध्ये सांगतात

आपण गरिबांवर अत्याचार बंद करायला पाहिजे, किती हास्यास्पद दशेला आपण पोहचलो आहोत, कोणी भंगी आपल्या जवळ आला तर आपण त्याला अस्पृश्य म्हणून त्याच्या पासुन लांब पळतो, परंतु त्याच्या डोक्यावर एक कटोरी पाणी टाकून पादरी त्याला प्रार्थना म्हणायला सांगून घालण्यासाठी एक कोट देतो, तेव्हा तो कोणत्याही हिंदूच्या घरी गेला तरी त्याला कोणी अडवत नाही.

दक्षिण भारतात पादरी लोक लाखोच्या संख्येने खालच्या जातीच्या लोकांना इसाई बनवत आहे.

भारतात त्रावणकोर मध्ये पुरोहितांचे अत्याचार सर्वात जास्त आहे तिथं जमिनीच्या प्रत्येक तुकड्याचे मालक ब्राह्मण आहे आणि तिथं राजघराण्यातील स्त्रिया पण ब्राह्मणांची उपपत्नी(रखेल) बनून राहण्यात गौरव मानतात.

येथे जवळ जवळ 25% लोक ईसाई झाले आहे, मी त्या बीचार्यांना का दोष देऊ.
